Gwaihir Aruya at Gealach Mor is the first pup we've had here in 4 years, and the first pup we've bought in 7 years.
It's been a wonderful time of remembering puppy breath and teaching that long forgotten trick of house training.
She has settled in very well and formed a real bond with Fina. She has also become the favourite toy of our new German Shepherd dog, Ciobair.

Her major failing so far has been the inability to pass a bowl of water without trying to pick it up and carry it around. I'm glad to say she seems to have got over that particular foible.

Ruya is another of those Seppala dogs we love so much. Her dam is Tay Marr's Hermine (sister to our Harry)

2007 - 2008 season  Baby Ruya learns what a harness is for and what happens when one goes on. She took to it like the proverbial duck to water. Her only issue seems to be she regards standing still as a waste of time.

2008 - 2009 season  Little Ruya is still rather titchy compared the majority of our dogs, but she has taken her place in the team by sheer force of personality. Her natural impatience has been utilised by putting her up front - where she has shown an amazing maturity and drive. It's pressure work for a young dog to be leading 8s and 10s - but she has shown no signs of being bothered by it. I think she's going to be a star.
