When we heard that Hope of Sepp-Alta had been bred, I instantly was after one of the pups. We are eternally grateful to Alan and Tabby at Deer Creek Sled Dogs that they eventually agreed to part with these girls.

Rosie is one of the youngsters of the kennel, along with her sister Lily. Having just turned a year old, their status is pretty much at the bottom of the totem pole at the moment. Although Rosie isn't taking that lying down.

She's a bit of a little bully, pushing her way around the older, retired house dogs, who all just want a quiet life and tend to just ignore her. She's also a thief, a destroyer of property and slippers and just about anything else that isn't nailed down.

She is very slightly built with a pretty small head, but a mind as sharp as a tack. She displays drive and determination and I'm hopeful she'll put those attributes to good use when she gets the chance to run with the big dogs next year.
