Mermaid joined us from Silver Sepp Kennels, based in Idaho.
Along with Ruby, also from Silver Sepp, these girls were the first of our new arrivals to join us in our big adventure in Alaska.
Mermaid is quite a big girl, both in body and heart and is very affectionate.
She has been in quite a few kennels before arriving here, but everyone I have spoken to that she has lived with, have all said that she was a lovely dog and that she is a great worker.
I can certainly agree with both of those comments. I like her character and her smoothness. Her major downside seems to be a long standing habit of dipping. It's something she does exceedingly frequently and apparently has done, everywhere she has been.
